SERVING YOGA COMMUNITY AROUND THE WORLD!
Sahdev’s Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga International (SAVY International) was established with a view to guide prospective, beginner and advanced students of yoga in understanding the rhythms and meanings of the body, and, to impart the best possible Yoga Teacher Training in authentic classical Yoga from India, to prepare capable teachers who can impart such clear and concise understanding to their students.
SAVY Yoga Teacher Training programs are an unparalleled opportunity to acquire a profound understanding of the yogic system and the proficiency to teach Hatha Yoga.
To understand the rhythms and meanings of the outer world one has to master the dialects of the body. The neuro-physio-endocrinological science called Yoga shows the way. We understand Yoga to be science beyond nano-science – modern man has a lot of growing to do before the full potential of Yoga Science becomes comprehensible!

The philosophy at SAVY International is simple – ‘Everybody and anybody who wants to know, learn and practice authentic, truly traditional yoga, should be able to do so’.
We train yoga students in Primary to Denary Level Sequences (Level I to X). We want to help anybody who is interested in learning yoga and in achieving positive health through yoga. To meet this end, we have to have more numbers of accessible, knowledgeable, competent and affable teachers who are available and have the ability to teach yoga to everybody and anybody, those who also understand what is written between the lines, have a deeper understanding of the subject and possess the capability to optimally modify the technique, posture or duration to suit their students in an individualized manner, and have the training and understanding to differentiate yoga from other competitive sports. Yoga is not just twisting and turning of the body! What actually is yoga, what is the importance of the eight limbs of the Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga – yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dhyana, dharna and samadhi, as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Darshana, the original and authentic treatise of traditional knowledge of yoga, we want students at all levels of understanding and practice to be clear about that. Sound yoga practices should be as accessible as they are effective. There is a dearth of well-rounded Yoga Teacher Training programs and hence shortage of sufficiently trained teachers to share authentic traditional yoga systems in a way that makes it available to people at every level.
London Yoga Teacher Training Courses at SAVY help solve this problem. SAVY system of teaching yoga is based on the proven Indian Yoga Training traditions. The Director of Teaching, Dr Jitender K Sahdev, has been involved in yoga and its teaching activities since his very early years and is well-conversant with the traditional forms of yoga and teachings of various yoga schools there. Being a qualified practising physician in India, and at the same time being involved in yoga activities, has helped him gain deeper understanding of the subject and apply it for the benefit of fellow human beings for over two decades. Similarly, the other senior and junior faculty has received their Yoga Teacher Training in India, has been teaching yoga for years and is quite proficient in all range of basic, advanced and intricate yoga procedures.
SAVY has developed a series of Yoga Teacher Training programs to offer beginners, serious practitioners, aspiring teachers and current teachers a method to upgrade and optimize their learning and practice potential, cultivate fresh teaching skills and inspire real life transformations. Also, they will help the students and teachers of yoga achieve a better and more logical and rewarding living standard!
SAVY International yoga schools have been registered at RYS-200 and RYS-300 levels by Yoga Alliance, USA, and so, are registered to impart up to the highest levels of yoga studies. The Yoga Alliance is one of the most established organizations for governing the national standards of yoga and the registration is valid not only in North America but is also given due respect in the rest of the world.
